DAISY DEAD TEE (REGULAR FIT)

You all asked so I made the Daisy Dead Tee in a Regular Tee fit.

This unique tee features an appliqué from original vintage fabric from Carolyn Lee’s 'Mihitabel' collection estate, showcasing her beautifully hand-sewn quilted daisy from her 1960's boutique. 

While exploring her fabric archive and polaroids, it became clear that her talent went far beyond tie-dye, highlighting her impressive quilting and appliqué skills. Only a handful of these handmade daisies were ever made and sold individually at the Mihitable shop.

To add my own personal touch, the word "Dead" is embroidered in the center, giving my playful twist to her classic daisy design. This piece celebrates the creative energy of the 1960's and 70's at Mihitabel shop which was located at 3707 Sunset Blvd, which at the time was known as "The Other End Of Sunset". The art community at The Junction in Silver Lake and Echo Park, where every item was truly one of a kind.
