THE SPIN HALTER TOP

The SPIN is a one-of-a-kind deconstructed halter top, woven from the rich tapestry of music and fashion history. 

I created this from Carolyn Lee’s ‘Mihitabel’ hand tie dyed grillcloths used by bands like New Riders of the Purple Sage and The Grateful Dead- then tied together with a very rare hand drawn brush colored Indonesian batik print from her personal collection of 1960's hand loomed hand drawn batik fabrics used to dress icons like The Eagles, Jim Croce, Sweetwater, and The Beach Boys. I then repurposed vintage jeans from my personal collection for the halter straps and back tie detail.
